I have decided that EL wire is not the best idea because will look disgusting in the daytime. It makes more sense to use snap fasteners to hold the garment. They can light up until the right switch is closed. These clips need to be conductive as I will be putting current through them. Also I spoke to Peter Maxwell from electronic imaging in christchurch. I will be going to go to Christchurch in a few days for product testing. I think the fabric will be a lighter felt so that it holds its weight.
